“wake up with determination, go to bed with satisfaction”
Nutrition can be very overwhelming, even for me. All the different and conflicting information thrown at us, it can be hard to keep up and know what to believe.
I understand every client is different. The way I structure a client’s nutrition program varies a lot depending on their goals and needs. Consideration of their goal time frame, current and past lifestyle, current and past eating habits, and attitude towards food also needs to be taken into account. A more extreme body composition goal or smaller time frame may result in greater rigidity required to achieve those goals. Clients with a longer time frame or complex attitude towards food may require a more flexible approach which becomes more rigid as they progress and learn throughout their journey.
If your goal is to achieve a change in body composition, changes in your diet are required. This is why I include nutritional programming in all my clients’ programs. To achieve and maintain body composition goals, new habits need to be created. Educating my clients into building a sustainable nutritional plan over time is my main focus and help them create a balanced and healthy relationship with food.
My Nutrition ethos
- Building nutritious eating habits as part of a healthy lifestyle does not have to be overwhelming.
- Empower clients with knowledge and support to increase adherence, motivation and build a sustainable diet program they can follow.
- Create a positive relationship with food.
- Sustainability means we can enjoy everything in moderation.
- The best birthday cake and all the trimmings at Christmas are absolutely necessary. The odd doughnut or cookie is also fine in moderation 🙂
