SQUEEEEZE     

Feel it! Feel the movement you are doing and focus on the target muscles. Anyone can move a weight from A to B but to help develop a muscle and get stronger you really have to focus on using the correct muscles. This is called Mind-Muscle Connection.

SLOW IT DOWWNN

Control the TEMPO of all your exercises. This creates intensity and makes the exercise more effective. Don’t rush through a movement. Take your time, make it perfect and feel the muscles working.

FOCUS

Remember your motivation-your reasoning to train. Get in the zone and get the most from your workout. Every set you do throughout your workout should be completed with intent. You are with me or following a program to train, this means you are working to achieve a goal!

I always give my clients challenging exercises and weight selection but I would never select a weight that would completely break down a client’s form. I learn about my clients; their strength, motivation, and determination so I know how hard I can push them and what they can achieve. So when I set a challenge I know they have got this, as much as it will feel like a challenge.
